Job description

Our manufacturing client is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their tool room team in Fresno, CA.

Pay Rate :$40/hr - $42/hr

Shift:All shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Build, repair, modify, and maintain injection molds, tooling, and related components

  • Troubleshoot mold performance issues and implement effective corrective actions to minimize production downtime

  • Perform preventive maintenance on molds to ensure optimal functionality and longevity

  • Operate manual and CNC machine tools, including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM equipment

  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and engineering specifications

  • Inspect molds and tooling using precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy

  • Polish, fit, assemble, and test mold components for production readiness

  • Support new mold builds, engineering changes, and tooling improvement projects

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED along withJourneyman Mold Maker certification is required.

  • 2+ years of experience as a mold maker in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of mold construction, repair, maintenance, and precision machining techniques

  • Experience operating manual machine tools such as mills, lathes, grinders, and surface grinders; CNC machining experience is a plus

  • Experience with injection molding tooling and hot runner systems
