Summary
Responsible for, but not limited to operating assigned machinery. Operator ensures that the machine runs smoothly and is appropriately maintained. The essential role of a CNC operator is to operate CNC machines, load and unload raw materials or partially finished goods, inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
Work Schedule
Mon - Fri: Swing shift( 2:30pm to 11:05pm)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
โ€ข Use drawings (blueprint), specs and instructions to operate CNC Machinery.
โ€ข Maintain or exceed job production standard.
โ€ข Sustain a safe, efficient, and clean work environment.
โ€ข Responsible for the general maintenance and clean-up of the shop.
โ€ข Organize materials, hardware, and tooling.
โ€ข Perform other job-related duties.
Qualifications and Skills
โ€ข Must be able up to lift 50 lbs.
โ€ข Basic math and writing skills.
Education / Experience
โ€ข Experience operating Horizontal, Vertical or Lathe CNC in a heavy manufacturing environment (is a plus!)
โ€ข High School diploma or GED
โ€ข Measurement tools and blueprint experience preferred.
