Job description

General Description:

The Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) Machine Operator position is responsible for consistent production of parts that are previously prepared and set up on a CNC machine.

This is accomplished through the following essential functions:

• Load material into CNC machine.

• Run machine program to produce high-quality parts.

• Maintain the highest standards specifically applied by the company for aesthetic values on both manufactured parts and the internal environment.

• Use measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, etc., to check parts as they come off the machine.

• Identify parts that deviate from standard specifications.

• Run multiple machines, when necessary.

• Adjust offsets, when necessary.

• Maintain constant communication with supervisor about job progress.

• Clean and maintain cleanliness of work area.

• Complete other tasks as assigned.

• Differential pay of $2 an hour is already considered into the range listed

• Work 36 hours and give an additional 4 hours per week


Job Requirements:

• Successfully complete a criminal background check.

• Regular and reliable attendance.

• Flexibility to work overtime as business needs dictate.


Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Ability to multi-task and work independently.

• Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills.


Work Experience & Knowledge Requirements:

• Experience with MS Office including Word and Excel.


Education Requirements:

• Associates Degree in related discipline strongly preferred.
