Join a team where precision meets creativity. As a CNC Operator at Archetype Signs, you wonโ€™t just be cutting materialsโ€”youโ€™ll be bringing brands to life. From bold channel letters to intricate custom signage, your craftsmanship will turn raw materials into eye-catching visuals seen by thousands every day. Key Responsibilities:

  • Read, understand and work with fabrication drawings each day.
  • Work with Aluminum, PVC, Acrylic, and Polycarbonate materials to create precise and accurate parts for our Fabrication, Assembly, and Channel Letter Fabrication departments.
  • Manage material inventory in a consistent, accurate and fiscally-responsible manner.
  • Ensure the necessary tools are always present to complete our projects.
  • Maintain the CNC router tables according to manufacturer maintenance guidelines and our company standards.

  • Math Skills: Strong mathematical skills are a must. We pride ourselves on quality and accuracy; it is necessary to double-check dimensions, and to calculate required material usage to fulfill responsible material and labor cost management while minimizing waste and scrap.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: CNC operators must identify potential issues or challenges with the machines to achieve peak performance operation. We expect you to recommend ways and means to increase output and improve quality.
  • Attention to Detail: CNC operators will be working with precision equipment to produce signs according to precise specifications. Must maintain close attention to achieve our established quality standards.
  • Mechanical and Technical Skills: The operator will need to already understand CAD/CAM technology before joining us, and must be well-versed in proper tooling selection based on the material utilized.
  • Inventory Control: 1 year (Preferred)
  • CNC: 3 years (Required)
  • Experience specific to the sign industry is highly desired.

Archetype offers competitive wages based on skill level and experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package in a growing company with dynamic and friendly people.
