About the Role

Chandler Industries is looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join our team in Blaine, MN. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and is looking to grow in a precision manufacturing environment. In this role, you will operate CNC machines, support production processes, and ensure parts meet quality standards. Youโ€™ll work alongside experienced team members while building your skills in machining and inspection.



Requirements:
What Youโ€™ll Do:
  • Operate CNC machines to produce parts and components to specification
  • Load and unload materials and work-pieces into machines
  • Review job documentation (routers, control plans, blueprints, inspection instructions) to ensure accurate setup and sequencing
  • Perform basic inspections using standard measuring tools to verify part quality
  • Deburr and perform surface finishing operations such as sanding
  • Monitor machines and parts during operation to identify and report issues
  • Replace tooling and assist with basic machine adjustments as needed
  • Maintain coolant and oil levels and complete routine preventative maintenance checks
  • Handle materials, tooling, and parts throughout production processes
  • Accurately record job data and labor in ERP system
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards)
  • Follow all safety guidelines, including PPE and OSHA requirements
  • Support Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
What Weโ€™re Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, decimals)
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to learn blueprint reading and basic inspection techniques
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
  • Previous CNC operator or manufacturing experience
  • Exposure to blueprints, machining, or inspection tools
  • CNC Machine Technology or related certification
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to operate multiple machines as needed
  • Ability to learn basic machine offsets and axis movements.
  • Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Person as defined by federal regulations)
