Job description

Job Summary:
Accenture Federal Services is dedicated to helping the US federal government enhance national security and public welfare. The Cloud / DevOps Engineer will focus on planning and implementing AWS Cloud infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient operations while collaborating with engineering teams to deliver scalable software services.
Responsibilities:
• facilitate the planning, implementation, and growth of infrastructure on AWS Cloud, including comprehensive S3 bucket management and permissions structuring
• Work closely with architects and engineers to design networks, systems, and storage environments that effectively reflect business needs, security requirements, and service level requirements
• configuring F5 VIPs for networking and executing firewall change requests to ensure secure and reliable traffic flow
• Manage a continuous integration/continuous deployment methodology for server-based technologies
• actively tracking and resolving GitHub issues to maintain development velocity
• Work with engineering and architecture teams to design and implement scalable software services
• maintaining an operational security environment and controls to mitigate insider and external threats
• heavily utilizing robust secrets management practices
Qualifications:
Required:
• Hands‑on AWS experience including deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure and managing S3 buckets, permissions, and secure storage workflows.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, including configuring F5 VIPs, load balancing, and submitting / executing firewall change requests.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines for server‑based technologies, with the ability to troubleshoot, track, and resolve issues via GitHub or similar version‑control tools.
• Demonstrated experience operating in a security‑controlled environment and applying strong security controls.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to analyze environment needs and translate them into stable, secure technical solutions.
• Requires active Top Secret clearance.
