Job Summary:
Elbit Systems of America is a leading provider of high-performance products and system solutions in the defense and commercial markets. The Operations Data Analyst is responsible for supporting data-driven decision-making by gathering and analyzing data to deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders, while also engaging in routine data management tasks under supervision.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
โ€ข Conduct basic data analysis using statistical methods and tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
โ€ข Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
โ€ข Support data quality initiatives by identifying discrepancies and assisting with data remediation tasks
โ€ข Maintain documentation of analysis procedures, data sources, and results for knowledge sharing and compliance.
โ€ข Adhere to established data governance policies and confidentiality requirements
โ€ข Directly support high-priority LEAN and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) projects following Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) through collection, processing, and analysis (including trends, patterns) of project data
โ€ข Support collection, processing, and analysis of project data with supervision in support of meeting project deadlines and critical business needs.
โ€ข Support analysis of proposed projects and continuous improvement efforts to determine cost-benefit and return on investment
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
โ€ข Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
โ€ข Fundamental understanding of data analysis concepts and statistical techniques.
โ€ข Proficiency in Excel and basic experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
โ€ข Familiarity with querying databases (e.g., SQL) is a plus.
โ€ข Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
โ€ข Effective communication skills and ability to present information clearly.
โ€ข Problem-solving mindset with willingness to learn and adapt.
Preferred:
โ€ข 0-2 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role preferred.
โ€ข Lean Six Sigma green belt is preferred
