Job description
- Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks
- Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy
- Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures
- Entry level to a business support career progression
- Performs manual tasks according to established procedures
- Supports engineering, technology, production, or research departments by collecting and maintaining blueprints, specifications, schematics, or other forms of technical documentation.
- Verifies accuracy of documentation and completeness of files and resolves discrepancies.
- Ensures documents are retained and destroyed in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Implements processes for document approval, distribution, modification, and destruction.
- May utilize an electronic document/record management system.
- Required education and experience: High School Diploma/GED required and 0-3 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Preferred education and experience: Associate's Degree
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Detail oriented. Attentiveness. Clerical skills. Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
