Job description

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Model-Based Systems Engineer for Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3), you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying the next generation of Strategic Weapon Systems using cutting-edge MBSE methodologies and digital engineering practices.

We encourage you to apply if you have hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Systems and Test Engineering, Requirements Management, and Agile Development.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including direct hands-on experience with industry-leading MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain SysML models, including behavioral, structural, and requirements diagrams
  • Experience applying MBSE to architect complex systems, including functional decomposition, interface definition, and trade study analysis
  • Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards with an MBSE-first mindset
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, DOORS Next Generation) and their integration with system models
  • Experience working within DoDAF or similar architecture frameworks to support digital engineering initiatives
  • Creative thinker who can leverage MBSE models to quickly communicate complex system designs and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and champions MBSE adoption across cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, particularly in advancing MBSE practices and digital engineering capabilities
