Overview

ROLE SPECIFICS:

Are you interested in an Entry-Level Claims position? We are currently looking for a Claims Assistant who has a passion to provide outstanding administrative, claim and customer support. Do you love learning how things work and being part of a team with shared goals? You may be an excellent fit for this exciting role!

This is an in-office role located in East Hartford, CT. 


How you'll make an impact

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform basic claim handling functions including data entry, ordering reports, preparing and filing forms.
  • Capable of working independently and on a team.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a fast paced work environment.
  • Embrace a challenge, excellent organizational skills, integrity, and thrive on getting the job done.
  • Routinely collaborate with Adjusters, Branch Leaders, clients and claimants.

About You

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least one year office work experience
  • Knowledge of current business software such as Word and Excel
