Job description

SAIC is seeking a PNT SE&I Technical Librarian onsite at Los Angeles Space Force Base with experience in data management, customer service, and classification best practices to join the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Team. 

PNT SE&I provides engineering, integration, technical analysis, and subject matter expertise (SME) support to the US Space Force. As a member of our PNT SE&I Team, you'll work in a fast-paced environment with Government personnel and systems engineers to deliver, organize, and safeguard classified materials spanning multiple contracts. Major duties of this position include:

Responsibilities:

  • Manning the Technical Library (classified space) at Los Angeles Space Force Base from 7:00am to 3:30pm (M-F)
  • Applying best practice configuration management processes to the GPS Technical Library (classified/unclassified)
  • Complying with courier requirements to transfer data to and from the Los Angeles Space Force Base and the SAIC facility
  • Providing daily support at the PNT Technical Library supporting management of data 
  • Managing, tracking, and distributing documents (wrapping, mailing, and sending) to stakeholders, while maintaining an audit trail 
  • Ensuring obsolete documentation is removed from distribution and database updates

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Active Secret Clearance 
  • At least 2 year's experience in a professional customer-facing role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience interfacing with Government personnel
  • Previous experience working with classified information
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
