What You'll Do:
  • Provide technical planning and design support on various utility projects that may include storm and sanitary sewer collection systems, water distribution, and various other civil engineering projects
  • Prepare engineering calculations to support design
  • Prepare design reports and construction plans using local and state standards
  • Prepare construction plans using AutoCAD 3D Civil 3D
  • Prepare plans and specifications for public bid
  • Prepare/assist with permit submittals
  • Prepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities
  • Assist with/review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasks
  • Document design changes and communications
  • Conduct on-site inspections as needed
  • Prepare project status and other reports
  • Assist Project Managers
  • Attend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, preconstruction, etc.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • 2-4 years of experience in civil-site and municipal engineering
  • Familiarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software is a plus
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred
  • EIT Preferred
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS software is a plus

Salary Range:
The compensation range starts at $70,000 and is based on the position, experience, and licensure.
