Job description

Cisco Inc. is seeking motivated and mechanically inclined Entry Level Shop Tech to join our Wyoming, MI shop. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals looking to start a long-term career in industrial service work. No prior industry experience is required. We provide paid, hands‑on training!

As a Technician in Training, you’ll assist with the installation and repair of industrial batteries, chargers, and material handling equipment, becoming proficient through direct mentorship and shop-based experience.

Compensation is $16-$18 per hour

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial batteries and chargers
  • Support fully trained technicians while learning service procedures
  • Perform various shop tasks and general labor as needed
  • Utilize laptops/tablets for service documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting onsite
  • Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in the shop

  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
