Job description

Job Summary
- Location: Dallas; required on client site 3 days per week
- Administer and maintain Windows and/or Linux server environments
- Manage and optimize enterprise storage solutions (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE)
- Implement and support backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, Veritas)
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching)
- Provision network circuits and manage network capacity and monitoring tools
- Utilize scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred)
- Employ analytical and troubleshooting skills for system and network issues
- Install, configure, and monitor physical and virtual servers
- Apply security patches and system updates regularly
- Automate server deployment and health monitoring
- Administer SAN, NAS, and direct-attached storage; manage storage replication and disaster recovery
- Develop, implement, and test backup strategies and disaster recovery plans
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity and associated network hardware
- Maintain documentation for storage, backup, and network configurations
- Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Preferred certifications: MCSA, CompTIA Server+, CCNA, VMware, or similar
