General Summary:ย  Performs all required operations of the finishing line and inspects the finished casting for quality.

Essential Functions:

1)ย  Operates various trim presses and leak testers.

2)ย  Performs manual filing on the die castings in accordance with quality requirements.

3)ย  Inspects die castings for quality.

4)ย  Completes all required documentation.

5) Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

Marginal Functions:

1)ย  Performs re-work on die castings when necessary

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย Attends departmental meetings.

Working Conditions:

  • Plant conditions, including exposure to dirt, noise, fumes and cleaning chemicals
  • Continuous standing
  • Occasional walking
  • Lifting up to 40 lbs. continuously

Minimum Qualifications:

1) Must possess high school diploma or GED.

2) Must be able to pass required entry level testing.

3) Possess ability to operate various leak testers and trim presses.

4) Ability to adapt to change.
