A Rhode Island-based financial services firm is lookin to add a new Loan Officer Assistant to join their team in Newport County.
About the Opportunity:

  • Shift: Day
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8am to 4:30pm
  • Setting: Hybrid (4 days a week onsite)
Responsibilities:
  • Support the Mortgage Loan Officers with document collection and member follow-up
  • Review mortgage applications for completeness, accuracy, and supporting documentation needs
  • Communicate with members by phone and electronic channels to provide timely updates and requests
  • Track required processing information and help advance applications through the credit review process
  • Provide backup support to loan officers and assist with general mortgage-related inquiries as needed
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of customer service, retail, call center, or other high-volume service experience
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
