Job Description
This position has the primary responsibility of creating individual custom product quotes with CAD drawing to support sales opportunities and understands the difference between standard and customized modifications for all cabinetry product lines. Additional responsibilities will include providing custom quote process assistance directly to cabinet dealers, sales associates and Cabinetworks Group sales representatives.
Partners with Engineering, Operations and Purchasing to research the feasibility of producing a unique custom item to the customer's satisfaction. Reviews and audits customer drawings which includes product selection, modifications and detail notes for custom work. Prepares a custom quote drawing with pricing and CAD drawing for a customer specified cabinet or accessory. Ensures quality, accuracy and timeliness of all drawings and pricing prior to being sent to the dealer / customer for final approval. Research appliance panel specifications using manufacturer's installation manual. Design and prepare appliance panel custom quote based on product line and customer's application. Creates and maintains standard CAD drawing templates for consistency and efficiency. Provides ongoing phone support & training for customers, sales representatives and customer care representatives on custom quote abilities and construction related product inquiries. Collaborates with team members to create and document custom quote reference materials.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (G.E.D.) Required; Post Highschool Education preferred
  • Customer service experience required
  • CAD experience; AutoCAD preferred
  • Two years of MS Office software experience with strong Excel skills
  • Cabinetry or related industry experience Required

PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Must be a self-sufficient, "on the fly" decision maker
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and CAD systems
  • Requires expert level cabinet construction knowledge
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a fast paced, ever changing set of challenges on a daily basis
  • This position requires strong customer relationship skills, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to work in a team environment with cross-functional departments

The range for this position is $27.00 to $32.00 per hour
