Job description

Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented assembler to perform hand assembly tasks at a table. This role involves working with various cable assemblies, small parts, and ensuring quality in all areas. You will be responsible for crimping wires, screwing on added parts, and following basic work orders for product assembly, including wire harnesses. This position requires the use of hand tools on a smaller scale, magnifying glasses, and microscopes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hand assembly of different cable assemblies and small parts.
  • Crimp wires and screw on added parts to ensure quality in all areas.
  • Follow basic work orders for product assembly.
  • Assemble wire harnesses using hand tools as needed.
  • Work at an assembly table, putting pieces together.
  • Use magnifying glasses or microscopes for detailed inspection.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to achieve daily goals.

Essential Skills

  • Hand assembly and crimping experience.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints for mechanical assembly.
  • Experience in soldering and tape measure usage.
  • Inspection skills using microscopes.
  • Understanding of electronic and electrical assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Entry-level position with assembly experience preferred.
  • Soldering skills are a strong plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.95 - $17.63/hr.
