NAME Information

Technology Staff Augmentation: 

Job Family & Job #: Client Technologies, #2020

Level: Entry 

We are seeking one (1) Entry Level experienced Client Technologies Technician. This is a full-time remote position, Monday through Friday EST, not to exceed 40 hours per week. Candidate must reside within 49 miles of the Orlando headquarters. Price shall remain firm and fixed for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of submittal. If a Contractor’s candidate is accepted, the Contractor agrees to provide the Candidate at the rates specified in their proposal. No conversion fees shall apply if candidate is hired permanently. A permanent position is not guaranteed. Any exceptions must be fully addressed and may invalidate the quote.


•        Resources must be available during FLVS standard hours of operation between 9:00AM and 5:00PM EST

•        Travel is not contemplated, however if required must be pre-approved by FLVS and follow the State of Florida and FLVS travel reimbursement policy

•        Contractor candidates must be available for interviews as requested in the Key Timeline Dates section of this document.


The Client Technologies Technician provides 2nd-tier support and configuration for proprietary applications with the FLVS organization. Specifically, the Client Technologies Technician implements and supports technology systems for the FLVS stakeholders’ business applications. The Client Technologies Technician is required to work in a team setting and meet weekly with their supervisor in the Information Technology (IT) department. 

            Essential Position Functions:

 

•        Provide setup and configuration of applications

•        Provide 2nd-tier support for business applications within the enterprise

•        Interact with other departments, groups, and personnel with whom work must be coordinated or interfaced

•        Investigate the performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies •          Knowledge of installing applications

•        Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrating respect for others.
