Job Summary:
Tesla is seeking a Software Engineer to join a small team of experts focused on creating next-generation server-side systems for Robotaxi and Optimus. The role involves designing and building scalable systems and APIs, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the Tesla product roadmap and mission.
Responsibilities:
• Design and build scalable, high-availability, mission-critical systems and APIs
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in Product, SRE, and Infrastructure to drive roadmaps to completion
• Architect solutions with a focus on security, scalability and high-performance
• Solve problems using distributed, asynchronous messaging
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, proof of exceptional skills in related fields with practical software engineering experience, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of building applications, preferably in a service-oriented architecture
• Direct technical contributions in your current role, in code and design
• Extensive background in web services and distributed systems development
• Expertise in modern web developments frameworks, preferably Golang
• Demonstrated success with scalable web applications or messaging systems
• Experience leading engineering teams with a history of outstanding accomplishments in architecture and product delivery
• Ability to collaborate and communicate complex technical concepts to a wide audience
Preferred:
• Experience with web security is a plus
