Position:Business Systems Analyst V

Location: Salem, OR

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10 years+ experience as a business analyst and experience with similar healthcare related systems and state based exchanges.
  • Expertise in Oregon Health Insurance Exchange functionality covering preferably the legacy Cover Oregon.
  • In depth knowledge of technical data model supporting the Cover Oregon legacy system with the ability to build complex SQL data extracts and reports to meets business needs.
  • Strong knowledge of 1095A functionality including IRS/CMS reporting, error record research and response, processing of corrections and print plant coordination.
  • System and data expertise of OHA's ONE Medicaid Transfer Application including the legacy data converted from Cover Oregon into ONE.

 Skills:

  • Acumen for highly technical complex strategy, planning, problem solving discussions.
  • Ability to distill highly complex and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and high level decision makers.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to write highly complicated and technical documents to meet Federal partner requirements.
  • Ability to work well with staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and manage diverse teams at varying levels of expertise in a stressful work environment.
