Job description

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will turn raw data into actionable insights to drive strategy by focusing on trends, creating dashboards, and optimizing business processes to improve customer relationship management.
Location of position: GSA, Federal Acquisition Service, Office of Business Optimization

The GS-13 salary range starts at $106,437.00per year.  If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.  
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.

Specialized experience is experience optimizing business processes to improve customer relationship management and contract management. Such experience must include utilizing electronic-business, customer relationship management (CRM), and business intelligence (BI) systems:

  • Performing audits concerning contract and customer data management for organizational compliance;
  • Conducting analytical studies to benchmark metrics to identify performance gaps, establish realistic goals, and implement targeted improvements to drive business success;
  • Reviewing contract and customer data to ensure compliance with contractual terms; and
  • Compiling data to translate technical reports into presentations for customers and/or senior management.
