Grind Your Way to Success with Our Team as a Grinder
Copper State Bolt & Nut Company is seeking a material Grinder to join our team. You will be using standard industry tools and machinery to grind metal off the heads of bolts and smooth metal parts to remove defects, sharp edges, scratches, and excess material. This is a entry level position to start in Manufacturing. We will train.
Responsibilities
  • Set up tools and machinery for the project
  • Grind metal off the head of bolts
  • Grind and smooth rough areas
  • Inspect finished pieces for quality control
  • Complete orders

Safety
  • Ensure that all activities are performed in a safe manner using applicable safety equipment.
  • Regularly review the equipment or machinery in use to ensure that safety mechanisms or other safety features are working properly.
  • Report safety hazards to supervisors or other managers immediately.

Decision/Information Sharing and Communication
  • Must take initiative and be available to work where needed
  • Must be organized and able to file work-order documents
  • Must communicate and work well with all other employees in the facility

Physical requirements
  • This position typically requires that the employee lift heavy boxes, products, or other items, up to or more than 50 lbs.
  • This position will require that the employee stand for virtually their entire shift (8 or more hours)

All positions require passing a mandatory pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and background check.
Shift:
M-F, 2:15pm - 10:45pm
