Bloomberg Intelligence (BI) delivers independent, data-driven research and interactive datasets integrated into the Bloomberg Terminal, helping investment professionals make decisions faster. With 500+ research professionals, BI provides company, credit, industry and strategy research across major global markets, covering 135+ industries and 2,000+ companies, including perspectives on company fundamentals as well as government policy, litigation and ESG. Our research and datasets are delivered through curated Terminal dashboards and interactive research decks, with underlying data typically one click away, drawing on proprietary Bloomberg sources and 600+ data contributors.
What's in it for you:
BI Associate Analyst - Credit: You would be part of this expanding team and responsible for helping to conduct credit specific research on respective industries and companies. This includes performing high level credit analysis across companies and industries as well as specific fixed income security and market analysis. Additionally, you will help create written reports and analysis relating to credit markets for the companies/industries covered. This analysis will be based on external and internal Bloomberg data sets, such as financial data, detailed corporate bond and loan securities, and capital structure, as well as company filings, excel models and issuer news releases and presentations.
We'll trust you to:
- Actively contribute to the team's daily research activities (i.e. data, written research, idea generation)
- Help to identify, support and maintain critical data and functionality on the Bloomberg terminal
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal departments throughout Bloomberg as well as external company, industry and data professionals
- Work with other data and core business groups to help develop and enhance content and functionality across the terminal
- Interact with clients via our online messaging systems
- Review submitted research for adherence to global quality standards
- Participate in department-wide special projects
You need to have:
- Graduated with a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus or concentration in Finance or related degree
- At least one year of financial market research experience, with demonstrable research and analytical skills
- Keen interest and knowledge of the credit and fixed income markets
- A high level proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- An understanding of advanced concepts, practices and procedures of finance/accounting
- High attention to detail
- Strong organization skills and capable of handling multiple projects; an ability to meet deadlines, logically tackle problems and set priorities
- A commitment to enhancing and developing products
We'd love to see:
- CFA designation and/or MBA degree, and/or graduate educational experience
-Experience using Python and/or visualization tools (i.e Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense)
-Ability to leverage generative AI or machine learning platforms

Salary Range = 100,000 - 120,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
