Your role and responsibilities
  • Create Content: Develop technical tutorials, blog posts, videos, and sample applications that showcase how to use IBM's AI products and open‑source tools effectively.
  • Write Code: Build and maintain example projects, demos, and code snippets that help developers understand and adopt our technologies.
  • Engage the Community: Participate in developer forums, GitHub discussions, Discord/Slack channels, and events to support and grow our developer community.
  • Advocate for Developers: Identify pain points and gaps in documentation, tooling, or product usability, and work with internal teams to improve the developer experience.
  • Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: Work closely with engineering, product, and documentation teams to ensure developer feedback is heard and acted upon.
  • Stay Current: Keep up with industry trends in AI, open source, and developer tools to ensure content and advocacy efforts are relevant and impactful.
Required technical and professional expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and open‑source ecosystems.
