Title: Data Analyst
Location: 100% Remote - ***HIGH preference for a candidate onsite in Mexico City, Mexico who can go into the Uber office, but will consider US based.
Duration: Contract - 12 months
Bilingual Spanish:
  • All candidates must be bi-lingual Spanish as they are working with the Latin America office of the client, Uber.
Summary:
  • The Data Analyst will support day to day LATAM tax operations requirements.
  • Heavy reliance on data analytics, issue identification/resolution, etc. using SQL, Python, etc.
  • Regular engagement with our stakeholders, including weekly engagement with the head of our LATAM Rides business
  • Although the role supports VAT/withholding/reporting compliance, the person doesn't need to be tax technical.
  • Uber team can teach the tax technical so preference is to have a resource that is analytical and data driven
  • Needs to be able to go to the Mexico City office (it's in the Polanco neighborhood).
