Job Description:
The Sr. Data & Reporting Analyst is responsible for all points of data mining, extraction, manipulation, analysis, and reporting. Accountable for developing and reporting daily, weekly and monthly analysis of key performance indicators related to warehouse operational metrics. This position requires an extremely detailed, timely, consistent and accurate approach to reporting. Having strong written and verbal communication skills are critical to succeed in this position as senior management and headquarters team will be the targeted audiences for the reports and analysis performed by this position. Reporting can also be used to set the priorities throughout the operations, ensuring that key issues are addressed. Daily/weekly briefings and communications are needed to ensure consistent information is shared throughout the operations. This position is a task-oriented role, requiring very good organizational skills and follow through. The position requires interaction with a broad number of employees to validate data and collaborate on discrepancies found. This position is a key role in the critical analysis of costs associated with the logistics warehouse and transportation operations & cost. This position is also responsible for supporting improvement opportunities throughout the organization, for monitoring discrepancies and escalating to appropriate parties.
In order to meet daily responsibilities, the candidate must be proficient with SAP, MS Excel, SQL, PowerPoint; and, must have experience developing dashboards using BI Tools.
Required Knowledge, Education and Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in reports and data analysis within logistics, distribution center, warehouse, and/or supply chain environments
Experience in cost analysis, and reporting of key performance indicators
High proficiency in MS Excel (40%), SQL (35%), Access, BI Tools, and PowerPoint (25%) is required
Experience in a logistics, warehouse, and/or supply chain (operations) environment is required
Experience with SAP is required
Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, or related field
Results driven and ability to handle multiple projects
