SANYโ€™s Citizenship and Science Academy of Rochester is excited to announce an opening for a Behavior Specialist for the 2026โ€“2027 academic year. We offer a supportive and collaborative environment for new staff and encourage passionate professionals to apply.


Key Responsibilities

The Behavior Specialist will:

  • Consistently implement the schoolโ€™s Code of Conduct
  • Train and educate staff, students, and families on behavior expectations and policies
  • Maintain a visible and accessible presence throughout the school
  • Analyze behavioral data to identify trends and implement action plans
  • Identify students in need of behavioral support and develop targeted intervention plans
  • Build positive relationships with students and families to foster a respectful and professional school culture
  • Collaborate with counselors and teachers to develop and implement RTI (Response to Intervention) processes
  • Work collaboratively with administrators, teachers, and parents while maintaining professionalism
