Job description

Employed Cardiac Surgery Opportunity – Northeast Ohio

Our three surgeon cardiothoracic surgery group is looking to expand its clinical capabilities with a fourth surgeon.  As the market’s leading cardiac surgery practice, our extremely successful, hospital-employed team wants another motivated, quality-focused CT surgeon to join their trio. Aultman Deuble Heart & Vascular Hospital’s heart services include the full spectrum of care from EP, interventional cardiology, structural heart, peripheral vascular disease, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and cardiothoracic surgery.  The Heart & Vascular Hospital houses 56 CCU rooms, 40 CV surgical beds, two EP labs, four cardiac cath labs, four CVORs, and a hybrid OR. The program is striving to exceed 600 cardiac cases annually!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Completion of an approved cardiothoracic surgery training program
  • Board Certified (or eligible) in Thoracic Surgery
  • Minimum 3-years experience post training
  • Record of excellent outcomes and STS metrics
  • Familiarity with TAVR and assist devices strongly desirable
  • Mechanical Circulatory Support experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic, good communication skills, and team dedication
  • Not an entry level opportunity
