We are hiring a Laboratory Technician I to join our Madison, Wisconsin laboratory.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Pay: $21–$24/hour based on experience

Schedule Options

This role follows a 4 x 10-hour schedule, giving you an extra day off each week.

Potential shifts include:

  • Sunday–Tuesday + Thursday | 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Sunday–Wednesday | 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Sunday–Wednesday | 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Friday–Monday | 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Wednesday–Saturday | 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Monday + Thursday - Saturday 10:30 AM - 9 PM
  • Sunday - Monday + Thursday - Friday 10:30 AM - 9 PM
  • Thursday - Monday 10:30 AM - 9 PM

Shift placement is based on operational needs.


What You’ll Do

As a Laboratory Technician, you will help support the sample testing process by:

  • Receiving and preparing samples for analysis
  • Performing laboratory testing procedures
  • Following standard operating procedures with accuracy
  • Recording and entering data into lab systems
  • Supporting quality and food safety standards
  • Maintaining organized, clean workspaces
  • Helping ensure timely and accurate turnaround for clients

No two days are exactly alike. This role combines hands-on work, problem-solving, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 10–15 lbs
  • Comfortable working in a laboratory environment with PPE such as gloves, lab coats, and safety eyewear
