Audio Video (AV) Technician Apprentice

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Audio Video (AV) Technician Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the AV industry. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced AV technicians, assisting with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual systems in various commercial and residential environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation and maintenance of AV systems including projectors, speakers, video walls, control systems, and more.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints and schematics for AV system layouts.
  • Work in various environments, including small, confined areas and at heights.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and install AV equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow instructions from senior technicians and project managers.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues during installations or service calls.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills – Ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
