Position Summary:

The Sanitor I is an entry-level sanitation role responsible for maintaining facility cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout warehouse and operational areas. This position supports food safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance by performing cleaning and sanitation duties in accordance with company procedures, food safety standards, and workplace safety guidelines.

The role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, floors, walls, racks, docks, and operational work areas.

Follow established sanitation schedules, SOPs, SSOPs, and food safety requirements.

Safely handle, mix, and prepare cleaning chemicals according to company procedures and safety standards.

Operate approved sanitation equipment including scrubbers, power washers, hoses, vacuums, and cleaning tools.

Maintain sanitation logs, cleaning checklists, and required documentation accurately and timely.

Remove trash, debris, spills, and other waste materials to maintain a clean and organized facility.

Support compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and regulatory sanitation requirements.

Inspect work areas to identify sanitation concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards and communicate findings to leadership.

Ensure cleaning tools, equipment, and sanitation supplies are properly stored and maintained.

Utilize required PPE and follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines.

Assist with facility preparation for audits, inspections, and operational readiness.

Work collaboratively with operations, quality, and warehouse teams to maintain sanitation and safety standards.

Perform additional sanitation and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
