Job description

Supervisor Furniture Repair Technicians

Entry-Level Supervisor: We are looking for someone who loves helping others, finds it easy to connect with people quickly, and is ready to take on a new challenge in their career.

The successful candidate will supervise and mentor associates responsible for monitoring service technicians in the field, adjusting routes, and troubleshooting customer care conditions. As the Field Supervisor there will be varying duties for the department that are irregular, but essential. Those tasks include new-hire onboarding, performance assessments, travel, etc.

General duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Telematics review
  • Expense reporting and technician audits
  • Monitor daily services to the team
  • Audit punch-detail report daily
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies by team members.
  • Provide training in best practices, safety, and furniture repair
  • Upkeep of company vehicle

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and action/results oriented
  • 3 years Furniture repair or furniture/field service experience
  • Strong staff development experience including the ability to train, coach, and motivate performance.
  • Excellent writing, verbal, and analytical communications skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Tablets, smart phone.
  • Familiar with RTG Customer Service Systems
  • A clean driving record and the ability to pass a drug screen.
  • Work well independently and within a team.
  • Self-motivated and able to follow direction well.
  • A positive, customer-oriented attitude.
