The Position: An entry-level position that requires no previous experience. We are willing to train the right person!!The production worker role includes multiple jobs in producing and packaging our pies! You may rotate between positions throughout your shift. These tasks may be very repetitive. You must follow good manufacturing practices and standard food safety requirements. You must have attention to detail and be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform any combination of hands-on or mass production of pies or other baked goods
  • Reads staff and daily production/manufacturing schedule and report to the appropriate department on time while fully understanding the daily expectations, requirements, or specifications
  • Must follow GMP’s, and audit/food safety requirements and guidelines; properly fill out documentation and QCQA records that measure daily performance and completion details as applicable
  • Maintaining clean and sanitary workstation
  • Reporting any product deficiencies, food or safety concerns to Line or Production Supervisor

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be able to work overtime and be flexible (schedule can change based on customer needs and coverage for vacations/call-offs, etc).
  • Basic reading and writing
  • Must be able to follow directions (including following the processes) and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Hard working, dependable, positive attitude, safety-conscious and team-oriented
  • Ability to lift and/or push 50 or more lbs., continuously throughout the shift (labor-intensive)
  • Work standing or walking for long periods of time (8-12 periods at a time)
  • Work bending and squatting
  • Adhere to all GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices), such as good handwashing practices and adhering to the employee hygiene plan
