Description:

This role is responsible for ensuring that audio-visual (AV) systems are expertly designed, installed, tested, and maintained to meet performance specifications and exceed client expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both analog and digital AV systems, control system programming, and project management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, and commission AV systems for video conferencing, live events, and multimedia presentations.
  • Verify system integration, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide final acceptance documentation.
  • Select, purchase, and manage AV equipment tailored to client and event needs.
  • Program and implement control systems using Crestron, Extron, QSC, and Biamp platforms.
  • Write and test control system code, configure audio files, and develop custom GUIs for touch panels.
  • Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning of AV systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure effective equipment operation.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance records.
  • Update and maintain programming code in installed systems.
  • Program, troubleshoot and update software to optimize system performance, in addition to ease of access for non-technical users
  • Analyze and ensure security and integrity of all systems and data
  • Provide technical assistance and resolve related issues for users and personnel
  • Collaborate with internal assets and support team to ensure customer needs are met
  • Develop and implement system recovery protocols in the event of destruction of all or part of the system or components
  • Analyze, test, and implement of system and software, ensuring operating system compatibility
