Responsibilities

Cloud Software Engineer 2 - Cyber Mission (Annapolis Junction, MD)

Peraton is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer 2 to support our Cyber Mission business unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role supports mission-critical platforms that automate complex processes, enabling customers to focus on advanced analytical challenges.

You will work within an Agile team leveraging DevOps principles to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-based software solutions. This position is performed at a contractor facility with telework flexibility based on tasking and customer approval.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, test, and maintain full-stack cloud-based applications
  • Support integration, troubleshooting, and system enhancements
  • Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver high-quality software
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
  • Work with containerized applications in cloud environments

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph

Minimum experience requirement (one of the following):

  • 3 years of software development/engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science or related technical field; 1 year of experience with qualifying Masters degree
  • 6 years of software development/engineering experience with no degree

Experience must include: requirements analysis, software development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting

One of the following Cloud Certifications (required and will be verified during the interview or offer process):

  • AWS Certified Developer - Associate
  • AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional
  • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

Target Salary Range$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
