We are looking for you to join our team as a Test Engineer based out of the Annapolis Junction / Hanover MD area.

What You'll Get to Do:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Execute contractor testing against an offensive cyber platform within a customer's environment.
  • Develop and execute test plans and procedures using testing tools to ensure all acceptance criteria are met and the software quality conforms to established policy and standards.
  • Work in a team environment utilizing Agile processes to automate test cases and procedures for functional and non-functional domains, solving the most complex escalated issues.
  • Troubleshoot issues found during testing and relay to Field Service Engineers for resolution.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and interface with the agile team(s) and other program staff as required.
  • Improve our continuous delivery pipeline, ensuring that we can roll out frequent, robust releases.

This position requires full time work onsite at our Annapolis Junction, MD location AND/OR Hanover, MD customer location.

Basic Qualifications for Associate SW Test Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering from an accredited university with 0-2 Years with BS
  • A current, active DoD Top Secret Clearance. Must be eligible for SCI clearance.
  • Experience writing Python scripts.
  • Experience working System Test, SW Development and/or Systems Engineering.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD principles.
  • Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems & Virtual Machines (VMs).

Preferred Qualifications for Associate SW Test Engineer:

  • Familiarity with testing principles, best practices and procedures.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $83,800.00 - $125,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
