$50,000 - $55,000 per year + commissionsWe are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to join our growing property restoration team. You will run smaller jobs on your own and also shadow senior managers to learn how to oversee more complex water, fire, mold, and storm damage reconstruction projects. This entry-level role with tremendous growth potential, balancing field supervision with administrative coordination. You will ensure residential and commercial properties are rebuilt safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Project Support: Assist in managing non-complex restoration projects from initial scoping to final walkthrough. Set schedules for your team and subcontractors.
- Site Supervision: Visit job sites daily and monitor subcontractor progress and safety compliance and oversee the two to four person in-house carpentry team
- Client Relations: Provide daily updates to homeowners and property managers during stressful times.
- New Business Prospects: Seek out and form new trade partner relationships.
- Documentation: Capture before/after photos and maintain accurate job logs in restoration software.
- Estimating Assistance: Learn to use Xactimate software to draft accurate material and labor scopes.
- Schedule Coordination: Track delivery of materials and schedule trade subcontractors.
Qualifications- Experience: 1–2 years in construction, restoration, or project coordination (preferred but not required).
- Tech Skills: Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Xactimate or JobNimbus is a major plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to interact with anxious clients and diverse crews.
- Availability: Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (company vehicle provided for field use).
- Physical Ability: Capability to walk active construction sites, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
