CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager – Construction to join our PMCM Team in Boston, MA. In this role, you’ll work alongside project managers and technical teams to coordinate project activities, support day-to-day execution, and help ensure projects are delivered successfully for our clients and communities.


  • Assist in preparing proposals, developing scope, schedules, and budgets alongside technical and market teams
  • Address client needs and resolve project issues with professionalism and care
  • Support the planning and implementation of projects from inception to completion, tracking deliverables and reporting progress
  • Create project timelines and schedules with minimal supervision
  • Facilitate communication between office and field staff, ensuring daily operational tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Support compliance with specifications and project schedule and budget requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, science, planning, engineering management or related field required; or equivalent combination of experience and licensure
  • No prior experience required, however, prior internship(s) and/or applicable coursework preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and project management software; knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-paced environment
  • Motivated self-starter who works well independently and supports management
  • Adaptable, calm under pressure, and skilled in problem-solving and negotiation
