Position Overview:

The Assistant Project Manager will review project drawings and specifications, estimate project costs, prepare project proposals, and to submit proposals.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
  • Develop and track KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to measure project performance across the company.
  • Create charts and visual reports to analyze trends and communicate project performance data.
  • Develop presentations that effectively share KPIs, performance metrics, and key business insights with stakeholders.
  • Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
  • Travels to sites to review projects, meet with current and prospective customers.
  • Bids projects within the industrial environment that hth companies operate in.
  • Orders materials and equipment for projects, as well as coordinates the scheduling of staff (and the customer) to meet the needs of the project.
  • Reviews engineered drawings to ensure the project is bid correctly, and that the project is going as quoted. Estimar
  • Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
  • Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Build relationships with prospective and current clients and vendors.
  • Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Perform various other duties and functions as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • One to two years of related experience (or applicable education) required.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of safety principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
