Job Description

Job Summary 

  • The Asset Management Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate records of hardware and software in the IT Asset Management system.
  • Responsible for responding to Remedy request and work order tickets as they involve IT assets working independently under minimal supervision.

Key Accountabilities

  • Resolve customer requests, issues in line with customer agreements with agreed schedule to required quality standards

Key Tasks & Activities

  • Review Remedy ticket que and handle tickets involving AM
  • Correct errors in asset database
  • Provide team support and process improvements through individual contributions.
  • Participate in routine operational meetings
  • Productive in an open work environment with multiple conversations occurring nearby and daily deadlines
  • Frequent manual keying and data entry

Min. Qualifications & Exp.

  • Qualifications -
  1. BMC Remedy or other ticketing system
  2. ADDM, SCCM, Casper, ZENworks, or other computer configuration collection program
  3. General knowledge of IT computer systems including terms and relationships between HW, SW, and network
  4. IT Asset Management
  5. Data management and reporting
  6. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
  7. The ability to communicate technical details and concepts to at least senior management level within a customer organization
  8. Critical problem solving skills with attention to detail, with the ability to explain and express technical issues to non-technical individuals
  9. Working knowledge of software licensing terms and agreements
  10. Working knowledge of System Design Life Cycle
  11. Working knowledge of asset management software and/or inventory-tracking systems
  12. Knowledge of ITIL

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office  (including MS Word, PowerPoint, Access)
