Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of the Conservatory and the Dean of Arts, Conservatory Teachers plan, develop, organize, and implement a comprehensive educational program for students in the skills of their specified art discipline, create a supportive and flexible learning environment to nurture each student's personal growth, and collaborate with colleagues to reflect on and refine instructional practice.
Open teaching positions:
INNOVATION & ENTREPRENEURSHIP
High School (9th grade) Thursdays, block 8 & 9 - FALL
This is an entry-level class to orient students to business concepts that can prepare them for working either collectively (in a company or organization) or individually. The class will mix reading assignments, project-based learning activities, individual and group assignments, and student reflection exercises. By maintaining a disciplined approach to deadlines, workload, and personal involvement, students will be able to generate and develop original concepts, create an achievable business plan and funding/cash flow model to sustain the development of the unique concept.
