Position Overview
Ross Downing Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Mobile is seeking an Entry-Level Quick Lube Technician to join our service team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on vehicles and wants to build a long-term career in the automotive industry.
Many of our top technicians started in entry-level positions. If you're reliable, motivated, and eager to learn, this is a great opportunity with room for growth.
What You'll Do
  • Perform multipoint vehicle inspections
  • Communicate additional service or repair needs to Service Advisors
  • Check and maintain fluid levels (oil, transmission, differential, power steering, etc.)
  • Change oil and replace oil and air filters
  • Check tire pressure and lubricate moving parts
  • Service grease fittings, joints, and steering components
  • Inspect vehicles for additional repair needs
  • Follow all dealership policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

What We're Looking For
  • Entry-level candidates welcome
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions
  • Basic familiarity with automotive maintenance or repair
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
  • Prior experience as a technician helper or apprentice is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 20-50 pounds occasionally
  • Exposure to typical shop conditions, including weather, fumes, and chemicals
