Job description

Colonial Plumbing Heating Air is looking to add a full-time entry-level Apprentice Plumber to our team in Colonial Heights, VA. Would you like to learn how to service, diagnose issues with, repair, and install commercial and residential plumbing equipment? Are you looking for a career and not just another job? If so, we want to talk to you about this great apprenticeship!
We pay our entry-level Apprentice Plumbers a competitive wage of $16-$27/hr, depending on experience. We also offer generous benefits including health benefits, dental and AFLAC options (pre-tax), AD&D and term life insurances, and a 401(k) plan. We offer six paid holidays per year (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) and generous PTO (personal time off) after 90 days:
  • 40 hours - start through year 3
  • 80 hours - 3rd year through year 6
  • 120 hours - 7th year through year 19
  • 160 hours - 20th year+

As an entry-level Apprentice Plumber, you ask questions, observe, and emulate the values we adhere to here at Colonial Plumbing Heating Air. You assist with residential and commercial plumbing installations, alterations, additions, repairs, and maintenance. QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Currently enrolled in an apprenticeship program recognized by the state of Virginia
