Job description

The people at Apple don't just create products - they build things that change how industries work. The Services UI Localization team is part of that. We deliver localization across App Store, Apple Music, TV App, Fitness+, Apple News, iCloud, Maps, Enterprise, Identity Management Services, and many more products - 50+ languages, 150+ markets, every Apple platform - and we're actively transforming how that work gets done through AI.
This role sits inside the UI Localization PM team, where PMs are already experimenting and building automation solutions. We're looking for someone with deeper expertise who can raise the collective bar - serving as the team's center of gravity on AI and agentic workflows, helping teammates go further, and bringing rigor to how we build and prioritize together. This is a collaborative role as much as a technical one.
Description
Our UI Loc PMs are embedded in Apple's feature development lifecycle - attending kickoffs for new services and features, scoping localization work, managing tasks through translation and review, and producing planning and reporting deliverables at scale. You'll work directly with them to identify where automation can eliminate or reduce manual work, build those solutions, and bring them into how the team actually operates. You'll also proactively spot opportunities the team hasn't seen yet and push thinking forward.
Your work will be shaped in close partnership with our Strategy, AI/ML, and tooling organizations - what you build connects to a broader platform rather than working in silos. Your primary output is the agents, automations, and process improvements that make project management and delivery faster, smarter, and more scalable.
Minimum Qualifications
BS/MS in a technology or business-related field, or equivalent practical experience
Hands-on experience building AI-powered workflows and automation solutions in production or near-production environments
Proficiency in Python and experience with integrating frontier Large Language Models (e.g.: Gemini, Claude, GPT) leveraging modern AI/ML frameworks (e.g.: LangChain, LangGraph)
Experience designing and deploying AI services through APIs, automation platforms, or orchestration frameworks
Strong ability to break down complex, ambiguous operational problems into structured steps an AI agent can execute
Clear communicator - able to translate technical concepts for non-technical partners and operational problems into engineering requirements
Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills - able to build compelling executive narratives and demo AI solutions with clarity and confidence
Experience driving cross-functional work through influence without formal authority
Direct experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion
Ability to be onsite; this role is an in-person, onsite position
Available to work nights and weekends as needed
Up to 6% travel is required annually, both domestic and international
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in software localization, internationalization, or globalization operations
Prompt engineering experience, including structured prompting and iterative refinement
Knowledge of integration patterns using OpenAPI and MCP to connect AI agents with business systems and API) Gateways.
Experience building internal tools in collaboration with engineering or platform teams
Ability to define and track KPIs demonstrating operational ROI from automation initiatives
Experience evaluating reliability, observability, and governance considerations for autonomous AI workflows
Familiarity with web development in Python: Django, Flask
Familiarity with AI/ML: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face
