About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Quilter to join our sewing team.

This role focuses on precision piecing and patchwork; cutting and sewing fabric pieces together to create beautifully accurate quilt tops and sample projects. These samples are used in our kits, patterns, and video content seen by customers around the world.

You'll work with high-quality cotton fabrics and sew on Bernina sewing machines in a collaborative environment of talented makers. As part of an industry-leading company, you'll help create precisely pieced quilts in a fun, dynamic, and fast-paced setting.

Important: This is not an entry-level sewing position. Applicants must have substantial hands-on experience making quilts and completing patchwork/quilt piecing projects. General sewing or garment sewing experience alone is not sufficient for this role.

Note: This position focuses on piecing (patchwork) and does not involve long-arm quilting.

Responsibilities Include:

Precisely cutting fabric using rotary cutters and rulers

Sewing quilt tops and sample projects with accuracy, consistency, and efficiency

Following patterns carefully and identifying and correcting errors (pattern testing)

Creating quilts, wall hangings, table runners, pillows, and other sewing projects

Managing time-sensitive projects and meeting deadlines

Staying focused on individual work while working in a shared, multi-person sewing space

Pivoting between projects of varying sizes and priorities, including pausing one project to begin another as needed

Maintaining high standards of craftsmanship while working at an efficient pace

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in quilt piecing / patchwork (required)

Strong understanding of accurate seam allowances and precision sewing

Exceptional attention to detailaccuracy is critical in this role

Ability to confidently follow written patterns and instructions

Experience with rotary cutting tools, rulers, and sewing machines

Creative mindset, strong aptitude for color and layout, and problem-solving ability

Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to ask questions rather than guess

Ability to stay focused and productive in a multi-person workspace

Bonus Skills (Not Required):

Appliqu or machine embroidery experience
