PATTERN MAKER (Brooklyn, NY - 11232)

Starting Pay: $17.00 – $22.00/hr.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Draft, grade, and alter patterns by hand for womenswear and other apparel categories
  • Collaborate with sample makers to ensure accurate first fits
  • Make corrections and adjustments based on fitting sessions
  • Maintain organized and clearly labeled pattern archives
  • Work closely with the design team to bring client concepts to life with precision

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in hand pattern making (flat pattern or draping)
  • Strong understanding of garment construction and fit
  • Ability to work across various styles and silhouettes
  • High attention to detail and ability to stay organized
