Position Overview
McNally Tunneling Corporation is currently seeking an entry-level engineering graduate for a Field Engineer position. While working on a tunnel project site in Cleveland, Ohio, the primary responsibility for this position is to collaborate with and support the project engineering staff. This may include engineering temporary works, AutoCAD drafting, assisting project surveyors, preparing daily and weekly reports, project changes, subcontractor management, scheduling, submittals, and materials procurement.

McNally Tunneling Corporation, a subsidiary of Weeks Marine Inc., is a heavy/civil construction company that specializes in large diameter tunneling and underground construction. McNally has been successfully completing projects throughout the United States ranging in cost from $350,000 to $200+Mil since the company was formed in 1988.
Location
This position is located in Cleveland, Ohio.
Responsibilities
• Analyze collected data to monitor production and modify as necessary to achieve maximum production
• Plan and develop work plans for project related operations
• Coordinate operational survey needs with survey department
• Provide daily support and coordination with craft supervision
• Coordinate the procurement of temporary or permanent materials as assigned by the Project Engineer
• Coordinate and undertake planning and implementation of construction activities, as assigned by the Project Engineer or Superintendent(s).
• Assist with environmental monitoring as needed
• Assist in the generation of daily reports and assembly and maintenance of proper job records
• Ensures compliance of company policies
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Construction Management disciplines considered)
• Ability to prioritize and handle deadlines
• Extensive Knowledge of MS Office; AutoCAD and Primavera P6 scheduling program is a plus
• This position requires fluent use of the verbal and written English language.
• Ability to accurately read contract drawings
• Previous internship or experience in a construction setting is a plus
• A valid driver's license is required for this position.
