20% - Problem Solving & Operational Reliability
  • Assists with resolving service interruptions and contributes to root cause analysis during post-mortems under the guidance of senior engineers.

  • Helps identify trends, anomalies, and failure patterns; recommends solutions with input from senior team members.

  • Actively participates in a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and operational excellence within the team.

  • Supports cross-functional teams during major incidents, helping ensure clear communication and timely updates throughout the lifecycle of an event.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating the required skills. 1-2 years of relevant experience; internships, co-ops, and academic or personal projects will be considered. Cloud platform, or AI-related certifications are a plus.
  • Foundational knowledge of web application frameworks, object-oriented languages, functional programming techniques, design patterns, and secure coding practices, gained through coursework, internships, or professional experience.

  • Exposure to building web applications or web-services, preferably REST

  • Basic familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases and core concepts such as ACID transactions, data retrieval, search, and persistence paradigms.

  • Developing triage skills, with the ability to assist in root cause analysis under guidance.

  • Basic exposure to at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or OCI).

  • Growing ability to interpret and apply security requirements across infrastructure and software systems.

  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) to generate, review, and improve code.

  • Growing ability to evaluate AI-generated code and configurations for correctness, security, and performance, with support from senior engineers.
