Job description

Join Amazon's commitment to Customer Obsession by working with Amazon Surface Transportation, supporting all Middle Mile ground and yard operations across the Amazon network! The Launch Execution, Adoption, and Facilities (LEAF) team is hiring for an Infrastructure Escalation Specialist, to support the Fleet Infrastructure team's goal of exceeding customer expectations by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible.
Amazon is seeking a detail-oriented person to support strategic vendor relationships, diving deep into invoice and purchasing patterns to help inform key decisions in the infrastructure and fuel industries.
This position will work at Amazon's corporate office in Nashville, Tennessee.
Key job responsibilities
• Support nationwide transportation network in a safe, customer-focused manner
• Develop and design solutions to difficult problems
• Manage outside contractors and vendors
• Handle multiple projects and daily activities, meet deadlines, and develop plans on how to accomplish departmental and distribution goals
• Ensure that all programs and procedures are followed, answering incident ticket escalations from 3rd Party companies
About the team
• The Launch Execution, Adoption, and Facilities (LEAF) team provides internal and external infrastructure (fleet infrastructure and fuel) services for multiple Amazon business units within Amazon's transportation network
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school or equivalent diploma
- 1+ years of using a computer maintenance management system in planning, scheduling and auditing overall facilities/maintenance activities experience
- 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- 1+ years of experience in project, construction, or customer-service facing role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- Ability to work independently while maintaining all deadlines and critical date obligations Effective time management and organization skills
- Effective and professional communication skills Demonstrated ability to establish processes, workflows, standard procedures
- Self-starter that is able to identify opportunities and drive solutions
- Entry level competency in support of a full range of construction management/administrative tools and best practices
- Comfortable operating in an extremely fast-paced environment with a high degree of ambiguity
- Excellent problem solving skills with diverse stakeholder groups

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
